Okay, I'm approaching 30, single and no kids. Is there something wrong with this picture? Of course not! 30 is the NEW 20 and I've still got a good 40 years ahead of me (God Willing) right? So, I've been on a "mission" for some time now and that mission is...finding true love! This has been an ongoing journey for me since the age of 12...I swear! lol I thought every crush I had would turn out to be "the one"...even 'till this day!!! lol Ever since I was a little girl, I've always been this dreamy, hopeless romantic that wanted a Knight in Shining Armor to come rescue her. lol Obviously, that hasn't happened yet -- and I've been the one doing all of the "rescuing" here! I remember my first crush, I fell really hard for him. Too bad he ended up falling really hard for my childhood best friend which traumatized the sh*t out of me!!! I remember looking out my window, seeing them together, holding hands and I would be staring at them with tears in my eyes. Gosh, it was horrible! That was the moment when I had my real first taste of hearbreak. I need to go back in time and hug that little girl and tell her that it was gonna be okay. Although, it turns out...it wasn't gonna be okay after all! There were MORE traumatizing experiences ahead! So at the very least, I could go back in time and tell her "Baby girl, you ain't seen nothing yet so prepare yourself!!!" lol So here I am, a "true survivor" of heartbreak since the tender age of 12. I will begin to share with you some of my beautiful, outrageous and traumatizing stories about love, life and what all of these experiences have made me TODAY. It's time for CHANGE, don'tcha think???!!! GO OBAMA!!! lol ;-)
